Wow, Red Rock Canyon was the highlight of my trip to Las Vegas! If you go to Vegas I highly recommend taking a day trip to Red Rock Canyon and hike the Calico Trail. The park has many different levels of trails you are able to take. You are able to do your own hike and go wherever you can climb. Such a great views of the rocks and nearby mountain. Many rock climbers here. Great trail for dogs.
